LOCAL Is Growing Our Strategy Team!

It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were sketching out an idea for a new type of agency on the back of a napkin. This agency would be different, an experiment of sorts, based on a simple question: What would happen if you put people first? No, I mean really. Not just say it, but literally make the health and happiness of employees the first priority, as important as profit. Would it work?

Now, after several years of sweat, tears, awesome employees, great clients, and lots of change, it’s time to grow again.

We’re excited to announce that LOCAL is hiring for a Strategist position. APPLY NOW

The strategy team is responsible for evaluating our clients’ organizations and their cultures. We discover insights, define problems, and build Change Marketing™ programs. Our Strategists build bridges, closing the gap between the unknown and the known, and between the known and the tactical — all focused on making change more human and more sustainable. We’re experts in change, marketing, and culture — and we’re obsessed with effectiveness and storytelling.

We’re very picky over here, and for good reason — we’re a fun, exceptional place to work. You don’t have to take our word for it. We’ve been recognized as one of Atlanta’s “Best Places to Work” two years in a row by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Do you have what it takes to join LOCAL?

Our Strategists are:

  • Experts who deliver outstanding work quality
  • Self-starters who get things done
  • Insight-driven and detail-oriented
  • Great communicators, facilitators, and presenters
  • Results-driven and always work to completion
  • Able to work at calculated speed — fast but not reckless
  • Team players and collaborators — because when we work together, the work gets better!
  • Adaptable and creative problem solvers
  • Experienced (5-10 years on enterprise-level accounts)
  • Calm under pressure

WANT TO JOIN US? You’ll need proof that you can:

  • Expertly develop communications plans for various audiences and timescales
  • Conduct research (QUAL/QUAN), synthesize findings, and present them
  • Be productive in a team as well as alone
  • Hold your own when presenting to clients (without oversight)
  • Write exceptionally for a variety of mediums
  • Create a strategic presentation from a blank page or using LOCAL templates
  • Quickly synthesize information from many sources to build a narrative in a deck
  • Handle feedback and criticism well and integrate it into your work
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in employee experience, marketing, and communication
  • Spot emerging trends and themes, both within projects and throughout culture at large
  • Create thought leadership through original content of articles and presentations
  • Be nice :)

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position is for our Atlanta, GA, USA office.
